A classroom activity using this resource

An example of a classroom activity, that could be used on Edmodo, could be posting instructions of a topic to research (eg animal), links to sites to research from and links to a template to use to write an information report. Students could work independently and then post their final reports to Edmodo for all students to access and provide feedback on.

How to use this resource

This is a fantastic website that has a similar look and feel to Facebook, which really appeals to students. It can be used as a means of communication and a place to submit assignments and share information. The teacher can invite students to create class groups, or even subject groups. Each student will have a profile and be able to post and comment on the teacher’s page. The teacher can also quiz students or survey them through this site. The links to other learning areas are endless! This could be used to communicate with students about a particular subject or across all subjects within the class. This can be done by posting tasks, information, quizzes, readings and assignment details for any subject.
