A classroom activity using this resource:

Students will need to create their own character and get them to move to a new destination. When moving to this destination the students must make their character interesting by flipping and rotating. The students will command their character to perform their moves in a coded sequence. The aim of the activity is for the students to move their character to a new destination, just like as if they were travelling somewhere themselves.

How to use this resource:

Learn programming skills by snapping together programming blocks. Make characters walk, jump, dance and sing. Add your own voice or modify your own characters and make your own interactive story.

This program is used an introduction to language for children aged 5-7. Students can create their own characters, make stories and make them move. Children have the ability to create their own character and make it move in any way they like by also adding sound. Students place blocks of coded sequence and when they press go their character follows this sequence. Once students get the hang of this resource it is very easy to use and interactive. It is available as a free app on tablets.
