How this is useful:

Fact Monster is useful as it allows students to explore the web without stumbling across anything they shouldn’t see. It is a website which is monitored and has information that is explained in simple terms. In the classroom I would allow my students to browse Fact Monster rather than Google to limit the time wasting and potential procrastination.

How this is useful:

For the teacher: The teacher can create survey’s on a subject they have recently been doing in class, have the students complete the survey and see if what they learnt and how they liked the subject. It can give the teacher some feedback on their teaching.

For the students: If the teacher creates an account, it can be set up for the students to create surveys for different subjects and quiz their peers or family members through sharing the link. This could come handy in Maths, Science and Health in particular. It will also assist the students in creating their own graphs and charts as they will be able to compare them to the Survey Monkey reports.
